Temporary
1. GREENWICH REACH - CONVOYS WHARF - BORE HOLE OPERATIONS - On or about Wednesday 7th March 2018 conducting ground investigation works for approximately four weeks. Comprises works conducted from a jack-up barge and consist of 3 individually drilled bore holes. An exclusion zone will be established extending 50m around the works - see image in the Temporary list on: http://www.crossingthethamesestuary.com/page9.html
2. Harwich Harbour and approaches – Seasonal recreational marks - On or after the 1st March 2018 the Harwich Shelf East Cardinal Buoy will be re-established;
3. Ha’penny pier pontoon walkway refurbishment works as reported elsewhere before - on or about Monday 26th February 2018 will commence to remove the walkway between the Ha’penny Pier and the pontoons for essential repairs. No access to the pontoons from Ha’penny Pier - and no alternative arrangements will be made. Due to be returned during the week beginning 12th March 2018.
4. KINGSNORTH POWER STATION CHIMNEY DEMOLITION - Exclusion Zone - on the 8th March 2018 the main chimney will be demolished by controlled explosion - exclusion zone, patrolled by the harbourmaster’s launch WESTBOURNE and by the Marine Police Unit vessel will be established from 09:00 8th March 2018 until sometime after 10:30 8th March 2018 - see the image in the Temporary list quoted above;
5. Ipswich - Temporary Lock Closure - due to essential maintenance on the Lock Gate Sluices and Lock Infrastructure, will be closed for all vessels Monday 12th March 0800 ~ 1800hrs;
6. Port of Wells - dredging;
7. LOWESTOFT OUTER HARBOUR – REMOVAL OF PONTOON SECTIONS – HAMILTON DOCK - to commence on 22/02/2018 to remove pontoon sections in the Western part of Hamilton Dock, (previously Hamilton Marina ‘G’ Pontoon) - 2 weeks to complete;
8. East Coast of England - The Wash - Approaches to Kings Lynn - Amendments to Buoyage - Nos 6, 8 and 19 moved. Note the approach channel has changed to Daseley's Sled so download the local chartlets. I have posted a link in the Temporary List
